Love for Mademoiselle Yulia

I’m in LOVE with the singer, dj, designer and Fashion Column writer for Nylon Japan – Mademoiselle Yulia. She’s like a Japanese Manga character with her ever changing hair colour of blue or purple. Have you ever just walked down the streets of your city and you see someone who is wearing something simple but has added a pair of studded leather vest onto a plain shirt? Or a simple dress with funky accessories and glitter shoes ? (well..obviously not wearing them exact clothing but you know what I mean...just someone who looks awesome that you cant stop staring at.) and think wow this persons style is awesome then you wonder about in your head what YOU have in your wardrobe that you can mix and match with to make it seem that awesome and that noticeable that you get awkwardly starred at....well this is Yulia, she just has that style you know you can wear but you don't have. She's a style icon on the streets and electro scene of Tokyo, she was bound to be noticed. I love how fun her style is, the way she puts it together seems so effortless yet some of her outfits are very costume-like. She makes something so simple mix it with something crazy and colourful and voila` it’s so much more fun ! I would pretty much wear everything she owns (even that kinky leather outfit) - She can dress like lady gaga but more of Yulia's outfits you can definitely wear out without looking like a fashionable freak. I love her style because she can look so effortless, she can be dressed down and she can be so dressed up and she looks great all the time !

She also has her own accessory line Giza which is inspired by Egyptian pyramids, design and colours.

First Post - Photoshoot - still alot to add on my blog page

I'm so excited to really start up my blog. I had a blog awhile back when I was a lot younger but most of my posts consisted of silly things I had been doing in my day which was really actually boring now that I look back. This time around I know what I want and what I really want to blog about - my adventures and downfalls. My friends and street style who you may get style inspiration from.
Follow my blog with bloglovin

Sooo anyway, back to what I'm supposed to be blogging about.
The other day I got the chance to help out at a photo shoot for Naomi Levi's newest collection. Naomi has become a great friend of mine since I did her summer collection photo shoot last year. You can find some of the images I took here
She's truly an amazing accessories designer with each individual piece constructed using true Italian Leather and Animal hide (No she did not pay to kill these animals. They had already passed away and found). Her collections consists of Belts, Bags, Wallets, Clutches etc. You can find her collection here (still under maintenance and photo shoot for this has not yet been posted) Here
The concept was to do a sort of 'high-fashion' African Tribal shoot. We had amazing accessories all from Lovisa Accessories . It's hard to find so much tribal accessories in one place but luckily Naomi found it all in one boutique. Our lovely model was Mimz, we had to pick her up at school that day (she's only 15 !!!) but I knew when I seen her standing outside her school she was going to be the model. She's beautiful and she's young, she's got so much ahead of her and she's down to earth.
Clothes were all Naomi's and Styling were done by Her and I.
Had so much fun at the shoot, playing dress up (which I'll show you a photo of once i receive it)
